Texas Roadhouse

Clothing too Tight

Texas restaurant

Have you ever ate at the Texas Roadhouse Grill in Everette MA or any of these restaurants? I went the other night for the first time and I hated it. First off the waitresses are walking around in skin tight jeans with there butt cracks hanging out. Most of them are somewhat overweight and look like they squeezed into there little sisters jeans. Also the service was awful and most the waitresses were sitting around talking to one another. I needed some more water and waited forever for a re fill. One the guy waiters had his underwear hanging out of pants and his hat tilted to the side. What happened to waitresses and waiters properly dressing in an establishment such as a steak house. And the t-bone had too much fat on it too. Also they never brought out the second basket of bread that we ordered. My thought change the dress code so i can eat without seeing peoples butt cracks and underwear, I think i will stick with Ruth Chris.

The nearest Texas roadhouse is about a two hour drive roundtrip , and I make it JUST to see the girls in jeans.
If my waitress is especially hot and fills out her jeans real well, it's not uncommon for me to leave a $ 50 tip for a $ 20 meal.
Booty makes the world go round !

As for the dress code, the secret shoppers would report to corporate if they saw anything like what you described. And newsflash, steaks have fat in them, the marbling is what gives them flavor as well as the bone. Its supposed to be a fun friendly atmosphere, their story is awesome and so is the food. There is definitely a reason people are willing to wait for hours to eat there! And poster... if you had bad service, next time talk to the manager instead of going on the internet to complain anonymously...

(Sorry, I couldn't resist. Carry on with your serious conversations and debate...)

Anni Roc replied to john : Touche', but it's for personal friendly reasons that goes with the job of filing such complaints. This author is new to the field and I am merely showing my support by helping with their traffic. You could say I get compensation for making you stick around and I must say, you're making it easy for me. :)

john said: You are correct Annie about the site being established for personal complaints, but being an open forum, one should consider their subjective comments with an understanding of reason. Granted your ignorance of Texas Roadhouse in particular, doesn't warrant a generalization and coupling of all Roadhouses. Try one before being critical or you can look for a table for two in the cafeteria.

Anni Roc replied to john : I've tried several, thank you. :) It's astounding to me that I struck a big enough nerve for you to reply to something so petty as tight clothing at a restaurant. There are a vast number of articles on here that actually MEAN something; this is not one of them.

john said: Can anyone say petty complaint! I have dined at many Texas Roadhouses around the country, and even at this particular one, and never have I had this experience. Not only do they have incredible food, but they have a fun and family oriented atmosphere. I think grandma needs to stick to the cafeteria food at the nursing home.

Anni Roc replied to john : That was pretty harsh considering this article wasn't nearly as petty as you think it was. It's called a personal complaint site for a reason. I've never dined here but considering Roadhouses usually have crappy everything anyway, I don't think I'd want to.

Mike replied to john : I agree someone sounds jealous I think the girls at this particular one are pretty fine. And I have never had bad service there!
Apr 22, 10:05 pm
Ben replied to john : @John and Annie, i do agree in general with both of you, but i myself go there all the time, so for me this complaint is extremly funnt, as do do wear WAY TO TIGHT JEANS ;) May not be a real world issue, but its funny... think they should get a kind of "2nd page section" with funny and local items..

BigMoneyLewis replied to john : Actually , I have drove over 100 miles to eat at a Texas Roadhouse because the girls wear tight jeans .
The last one I ate at , I sat at the bar, and left the lady bartender a $ 100 tip because she had the
"best seat in the house" . I love this chain, and have eaten at several across the south east .
I don't always leave a $ 100 tip, but if the girl fills out her jeans real well , it happens.
