Dear Sirs, I have a complaint about the manor in which Powell Valley Electric COOP (PVEC) destroys private property while maintaining distribution lines. Would you provide me the written authority that allows them to clear cut a forty foot wide axis on private property and leaving the fallen vegetation lay.
Also, PVEC made reference to a policy document during three separate encounters on my private property which they never produced.
The PVEC supervisor presented himself in an aggressive and rude manner while acting emboldened by this document. What is the DOE regulation for authority and conduct while maintaining electrical infrastructure in the state of TN?
I have contacted the Governors office, the County Mayor and the office of Congressman Row on this matter. I look forward to hearing from you.

just me said: Utility companies have an easement. Not sure what the distance is where you are. Ours is 10 feet on standard house power lines. They should lean up though.
Write a letter to the power company and copy it to the county Government including the mayor - for action.
