That's just the driver. The crews on the other hand have it a little easier. They only have to work as a team to change 4 tires and add a tank of fuel in 13 - 14 seconds. The Crew chief only has to have a degree in engineering, meteorology, psychology, and physics. When you add it all up, these are the most intelligent and athletic people in sports! Don;t think so, try it!
Jenny J replied to woodwalker : I agree. These drivers don't have time to take a break in their 3-4+ hours. They are always moving. But yeah in racing, it's not just about driving around a track. You do use every muscle and you have to have brain power. NASCAR is much of a sport as any other sport out there.
