Nascar Is For Losers
I think that some people attend the races specifically to get so drunk that their minds won't have to do anything too complex; after-all, watching fast cars go around in circles isn't the most mentally challenging sport. Or there are people like some of my relatives who watch or listen to the games to hear the crashes and laugh at the idiots in the cars. It takes racing to a whole new level of stupidity and I often wonder if placing a "TURN RIGHT" sign on the track would ruin the whole game.
Nascar to me seems like one of the lazier ways for people to play a brand of Russian roulette. They put their lives in danger, and maybe that's where the thrill is, because they want to go in lefty circles around a paved track to see if they can pass other cars. We have the Nascar Technical Institute as well, training people to want to be as dumb as their so idolized race-car drivers. It would probably be more appealing if the drivers weren't so arrogant the majority of the time and if it was more off road than anything.

It didn't surprise me he picked Nascar as his "sport" (it's not a sport and Nascar drivers are NOT athletes) of choice, given Nascar requires almost zero brain activity to watch. All that "shop-talk" from the commentators sorta puts me to sleep. Don't get me wrong, I am in IT and love science and knowing how things work but listening to these guys drone on about how tight or loose a car is makes my brain fall asleep. Some of these racers are colossal douche bags also. And for the record, Danica Patrick isn't that hot. She's alright at best.

You may think NASCAR is just going around an oval but there is more than just oval tracks. Oh yeah don't sit up all night and look up big words to offend us.
