Regardless, you have nothing to evidence her success as purely for ratings. What ratings?! This isn't television. She's talented and she is good at what she does: Performing. You wouldn't be able to do a fraction of what she does.
Madonna cannot copyright pop music. No one can. If people could copyright a genre or style, you'd have just Madonna as the pop-artist. Luckily she can't, as much as you hate it.
I suggest you go to a Lady Gaga show. You're not paying for a concert; you're paying for a musical. She's a fantastic performer with immense enthusiasm and style.
