On March 11, 2011 the largest and most massive earthquake in over 100 years triggered a tsunami that obliterated Japan. The death toll soared past 17,000 and many more are still missing. Is the Japanese government lying and trying to cover up the severity of the crisis not only to the Japanese people but to the US and the rest of the world as well?
Nuclear radiation hits California as the head of the Japanese Tokyo power plant breaks down in tears and finally admits that the levels are indeed large enough to kill. This happened as passengers step off a flight from Tokyo to Chicago and set off radiation detectors!
Also in Sacramento CA, radiation detectors are said to be going off. And now they have the audacity to claim that the radiation levels are MINUSCULE. The amount is in the billions of degrees lower than what could cause injury. The International Atomic Energy Agency is saying there is no cause for alarm.
I know this much, when people get of a plane and they set off radiation detectors, we have a problem. I don`t care what the US government and Japanese governments are saying.
If the radiation is now hitting California shores, I just don`t understand how the Japanese government can continue to not acknowledge what`s going on, when you`ve got the head of the Tokyo power plant breaking down in tears. They are now saying that this amount of radiation definitely can kill, correct?
The head of the Tokyo power plant breaking down in tears admitting, finally, that the nuclear radiation is killing, the first time that has been admitted, that is very rare. In the Japanese culture -- you just don`t break down add cry.
I appreciate the fact he is crying, but the reality is the Japanese government was warned back in 2009 that their reactors are in trouble. Now they are reaping what they sowed back in 2009 when they did not heed the warnings.
I've discovered that if 2011 or 2012 don't work out, predictions have been made for 2014, 2016, 2036, and sometime in 2040. So the biblical masses have at least 30 more years to speculate, worry, and... Read full article

Then maybe you should learn a little about radioactive contamination. And radiation. Since apparently, you don't know anything about either.
> They are now saying that this amount of radiation definitely can kill, correct?
Well, if you go swimming in the water in the basements of the reactor buildings, yes. If you spend lots of time on the grounds of the reactors without protective measures, yes. If you're in one of a few hotspots around the plant... well... maybe. Eventually. Possibly. If you spend a lot of time outside, and they don't clean up the contaminated soil. If you're in most of Japan? *** no, not even remotely.
The Japanese government and TEPCO aren't the only ones monitoring the radiation - and the independent measurements agree with the numbers they've released, so it doesn't sound like they're covering things up.
And I think he has plenty of reasons to cry even if the radiation doesn't result in a single death. In the long run, it's pretty likely at least a handful of people will die as a result of it, although it's pretty likely we'll never be able to attribute any one death specifically to it, but even if no one ever did die, he has plenty of reasons to cry.
Quite likely, the most dangerous thing here is that an opinion as ignorant as yours is being shared online where it could influence other ignorant people. And given that I am expecting some deaths in the long-term as a result of the radiation leaks, that should tell you something.

How do you figure, could you at least give an explanation rather than an ignorant statement such as that? Please tell me if I am wrong, I sure hope I am, but just calling me a trucking idiot gives me no information. What a useless comment

Japan 日本 Nihon or Nippon, officially 日本国 is an island in East Asia and is located in the Pacific Island. Japan is sometimes referred to as the "Land of the Rising Sun".
