Planet Conservation For Dummies

Our planet's conservation is an uphill struggle; especially when you're fighting against people who simply don' care what they're doing to the Earth. These people will indulge in illegal hunting, world-wide poaching, logging, and the deterioration of natural resources; because they just could care less. They're living in the moment and that's good enough for them; almost nothing will make those individuals open their eyes to the dangers of environmental harm and do something to fix it.

Recent studies have shown that humans have caused natural resources to plummet 33% since 1970. The same is true for the animal populations whose homes are taken away from them because of stupidity and selfishness. How much more does our planet have to deteriorate before you get off your fat ass and start caring? I can guarantee you that those dumbass episodes of Jersey Shore, Teen Mom, and other reality television show stars and those ignorant celebrities you so idolize, wouldn' care if something happened to you in a natural disaster; much the same way many Americans didn' give a damn when Japan experienced the worst devastation in years.

I've never believed in biblical apocalypse but the weather has gotten MUCH worse, the ozone layer is near gone, and some of the most beautiful wildlife is close to extinction. For what? So you can live your cushy little electronic lives and carry on with your day like nothing is wrong. Each effort of conservation (such as recycling, or helping sick animals) is a drop in the bucket compared to what really needs to be done but maybe Nature wouldn' be so pissed off if everybody contributed just a little something. It doesn' have to be money because plants and animals don' need your fucking cash. It's useless there. They need your sympathy, compassion, and commitment. Some of you more idiotic people will call me a tree-hugger, or a hippie, and any other manner of names; but I bet you anything that I've done more with my life by ATTEMPTING to save the environment than you've ever done sitting on your ass. You should be ashamed. You're killing our planet... good job, moron.

This isn' just an American issue, narcissists. It's something global that needs to be realized really quickly before we bring about our own destruction; and no false God will be able to save you from that. It's amazing to me that the risks are right there! Right in front of your face and people shrug and say Oh well! Let's teach our kids to play Xbox instead of educating them about the environment that we're leaving them. You don't need to be a celebrity or a millionaire to make a difference; and no matter how small that change, it'd be for the better and you'd be on the right track.
