Christine O'Donnell went on the "Piers Morgan Tonight" show to try to promote her new book titled "Trouble Maker," but when questioned on her views of gay marriage she abruptly stopped the interview and walked off set.
Apparently she is trying to distance herself from previous statements regarding homosexuality like "People are created in God's image. Homosexuality is an identity adopted through societal factors. It's an identity disorder." Comments like this are likely the reason why She lost the November 2010 U.S. Senate election in Delaware, to Democrat Chris Coons.
O'Donnell claimed since she is not currently running for office that she should not have to answer questions about homosexuality, and told the host to "ask Michelle Bachmann." Piers Morgan certainly had every right to question her about topics covered in the book that she was there to promote, O'Donnell did not agree calling him "rude".
Indeed, this would seem to put O'Donnell directly in the camp of those who liken homosexuality to pedophilia and bestiality.
