I wish I could feel sympathy for them, but I cannot. Their behavior is beyond bizarre. They prefer to protect their granddaughter's killer rather than hold Casey responsible for taking her beautiful daughter Caylee's life.
Of course, I can understand that they also risk losing their daughter. They must make their daughter accountable,. They let her walk all over them while they buried their heads in the sand, and now she faces Life without parole.
They would rather an innocent person in jail, Jesse Grund or Roy Kronk, rather than blame their daughter in prison. Nobody is telling them that they still cannot love their daughter, even though what she did was unimaginable. But she is bound to suffer. I never thought that it was an accident. How do she let 31 days pass, how do we look past the three layers of tape on the nose and mouth? It is not possible, and I really doubt any jury can turn their head either.
Last night Jane Velez-Mitchell (what little I could bear to watch), said that she thinks the defense is giving up the theory of the nanny. Casey has always maintained that the nanny did it . Also, the defense has always wanted to keep Roy Kronk in the picture as he is also known as 'reasonable doubt'

Casey Anthony
Casey Marie Anthony was born on March 19 in 1986. She was found not guilty of murdering her two-year-old daughter Caylee Marie Anthony; the stunning verdict was handed down on July 5, 2011 after 11 hours of deliberation. Casey Anthony was also acquitted of manslaughter and aggravated abuse of a child. She was however found guilty of providing false information to a law enforcement officer.

And this is for Defense Team, how long do you think it will be before your family's questions about your motive and integrity will be challenged?

Since Melinda Duckett committed suicide after appearing on the Nancy Grace Show, wasn't it in Nancy's best interest to have people believe that not only did the mother do it, but there was no male killer doing that. No, the Anthony case couldn't have been anyone else but the mother. She saw to it that everyone pointed to Casey and her sheeples pushed the state of Florida into a case they weren't really ready to present. Brand new junk science, 84 searches that turned out to be bogus, and beer bottles near the corpse that were never tested. Even the heart sticker turned out to be bogus and there was NO DNA on the shovel. One of the best doctors in the world said the autopsy was shoddy because the skull should have been cut open. No, that might have proved a drowning and HLN needed another mother to have killed her child after their type of reporting killed the first mother. Why else buy every picture of Caylee and show it 24/7? What about Rilya Wilson? She was a black child. Black children hardly are shown on t.v. when they go missing!

Can anyone give me a LOGICAL reason why she would do this and not be involved in her daughter's death?
Cass replied to cncpro : To keep ship wrecked Cindy from knowing something had happened to Caylee. Because thats the way that family worked. She already knew Caylee was gone and nothing she said or did was going to bring her back. Only LOGIAL reason I can think of why she would keep lying to police after she was picked up- would be to maybe protect someone else? Which she could have been very used to doing. Maybe a life time of protecting some one else. As for her behavior of being out having fun-- when my son died I was in denial- could not accept it. tried to just tell myself he was on a trip or something. I did finally have a melt down. But that happens to alot of people. Don't kid your self. We all know Casey lied, Casey knows she lied. Question is why?To save her own neck? Maybe who knows. But one thing I can say- is I have NEVER, NEVER , seen a whole family have such strange behavior. Not just Casey, but all of them. And something about that does not sit right with me. They all refused a lie detector test. Why? I don't buy they were standing behind Casey. Everything George did shows that, not to be the case. The gun he went out and bought, alot of things he did, does not point to him standing behind his daughter and that being an excuse for the behavior of the family.

I think replied to ADRIAN : I think Linda Baden was working for the defense the entire time, but more as a public relations, media relations type of person. During the most trial attorneys for both sides usually give there best try to make their case, but for some reason during the Casey Anthony trial, defense attorneys acted more like prosecutors and always supported the states case.
I think the defense knew they had to ditch the nanny story, so they had Linda come out a couple months before the case started and admit "Zanny the Nanny" was a lie, to eliminate that from the state's case all together.
